Formed in 1991, Office Comforts is managed by Jack Alan is an entrepreneur and the principle of Office Comforts. Office Comforts is a well-respected business within the San Francisco Bay Area.
Having been involved and been deeply passionate about the furniture industry for many years, Jack has utilized his expertise to help others crave their need and desire for quality office furniture. By helping clients get access to excellent second-hand cubicles, office desks, office suites, room dividers and much more, Office Comforts makes it easy to turn an office plan into a reality without breaking the bank.
The vision and aim of Office Comforts is simple – to offer recycled furniture through a dealership network. As ergonomic demands become more of a feature of most office complexes, we help businesses meet stringent regulation without having to pay the full price.
With furniture that is comfortable and also correct in a physiological sense, Office Comforts provides an easy way for work places to look better and feel safer to sit around in. We’ve moved from producing items like non-glare screens and ergonomic seating to articulating keywords and holders.
However, in 1997, we moved into full furniture expansion planning managing everything from case goods to table designs. This has continued as we begin partnerships with names like Haworth, Teknion and Herman Miller.
Many of our goods come from liquidated office areas, making us a reliable and fairly priced office liquidator. This has helped us boost our stock quality and quantity as well as ensure we can eventually move into the green line of furniture.
This means that we can provide furniture that is good for the environment as much as those who will be spending their day sitting down on it! We use these techniques of product discovery and selection alongside a dedicated workforce who understand the importance of quality furniture, but offering it at fair prices.
